WHAT IS ELDOA?

Private Eldoa Training

ELDOA is a series of postural exercises that you can do at home with the primary goal being to increase the space within a chosen articulation of joint. As the ELDOAS create more space between the spinal discs the spine can become more functional and healthier.

The postures can:

  • increase blood flow

  • reduce pressure on the discs

  • allow for spinal rehydration

  • create better muscle tone

  • improve posture.

ELDOA is a very safe method because the torso is kept in an elongated position during the postures with no twisting or torquing of the spine which can often aggravate existing spinal issues.

Origin of ELDOA Method

The ELDOA method was created by Guy Voyer, a French Osteopath. Guy began formulating his method decades ago in search of a "magic bullet" to cure back pain.  After years of study and clinical observation he realized that giving patients guidance and tools to correct their own back pain was far more effective than treating the symptoms.  One of the philosophies behind Osteopathy is that the body can heal itself and this is the base for the ELDOA exercises.  Participants, under the guidance of a practitioner can learn the method and eventually guide themselves towards healing.

ELDOA WORKSHOPS For Back, Neck and Shoulder Pain

Available for Private and Corporate Groups.

 

This workshop will kick off with a brief introduction to ELDOA followed by some guided breath work to improve the outcome of the postures. Next ,we will move into learning the main ELDOAS in the workout portion. Postures are broken down to make them accessible to a wide variety of participants. Participants will leave the workshop feeling energized and equipped with the tools to decrease their back pain. A pdf of the exercises will be delivered post workshop.

Meet your Instructor

Lauren has spent almost half her life in the fitness industry coaching clients by way of a holistic approach to fitness.  her private and group training method includes: teaching clients proper breathing techniques, core strengthening/core awareness and therapeutic exercises so that they can feel stronger, move more freely and manage/heal their injuries and pain.  Lauren completed her ELDOA 1 and 2 in January of 2020 after using the technique to significantly reduce her back pain due to arthritits and disc degeneration in her Lumbar spine.  She currently teaches ELDOA online and hopes to share this amazing technique with others.
