Certified Personal Trainer, ELDOA 1 and 2 Certified and Yoga Teacher Trained
With over 20 years of experience using a mind-body approach to optimal health, I have had the honour to coach many clients to achieve healthier lifestyles, feel more confident and get stronger.
Since I was a child, I have enjoyed being active and became aware early on of how calm I felt after participating in dance, sport or going for a hike. When I attended the University of Toronto to get my B. Sc. in Physical Anthropology and Biology minor, I was able gain an extensive knowledge of human musculoskeletal anatomy and postural patterns. This knowledge along with my awareness of exercise's ability to calm the mind has been my guiding principle for the past two decades.
Over my career, I have taken courses and certifications in Pilates, Pelvic Floor and Core conditioning, Mindfulness Meditations, Fascial Stretching, Thai Massage and more. I continue to educate myself so that I can be the best trainer for my clients.
My Vision
Every client is unique and no one plan works for everyone. I believe effective training involves as much intuition as it does experience/education and it is essential that clients' feel a safe connection with their trainer. I take the time to listen to each clients' health stories to establish a relationship with my clients that leads them to be successful while respecting their limitarions. I am always striving to learn new methods of training so that I can offer my clients the most up-to-date and well-researched methods of training
